We are very lucky to have a wonderfully large and mature garden for the children to express themselves within.
Complete secure within the main school boundaries, and secondly within the nursery boundaries, they are safe to be whoever they want to be in the fresh air.
We have a large patio area, which leads onto a path that snakes its way round the garden, perfect for a race on the ride-on toys. We have a large lawn area for the children to play on and for us to use for reading and other activities in the finer weather.
We have mature trees for them to explore in the wilder end of the garden, with the allotments at the opposite end to help them understand how things grow and produce their own crops!
In between there is the summer house for all things make believe and the hutch and run for Bumble our rabbit and Larry our hamster.
Add to the space our toys and energy, and the children's imagination and enthusiasm, and it's safe to say that our garden is one of the healthiest and happiest "rooms" in the nursery.
